WHO ARE WE?

In 1967, Cilas designed the first laser particle size analyzer to meet the cement industry’s need for fast and accurate particle size measurements. Cilas continues to lead the particle size analysis market with product innovations such as our patented short optical bench, intuitive software interface, and new CCD camera for viewing particle shape and size while performing particle size measurements. We also offer the only laser particle size analyzer capable of analyzing samples in wet and dry mode without changing any hardware.

Cilas is a subsidiary of the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Consortium. EADS is a world leader in aerospace and military production. Some of the products designed and manufactured by EADS include the Airbus civil air planes  and the Ariane space launcher. Belonging to the consortium allows Cilas to take advantage of the innovation and technical know-how of the entire EADS research group.
